Bob –
We take of 3 feral cats. Earlier this year a cold was going around the local cat colony and our boys got it. I contacted the rescue organization they’re registered and they recommended giving the L-Lysine until the symptoms were gone. Two of the three were easy – they eat canned food and it was easy to find a paste to mix in with their meals.
The third one eats dry food only and the only way I found to mix the L-Lysine in was to use the powdered form – which tended to cause him to turn his nose up to the food. If we held out long enough, he’d eat some but he for sure wasn’t getting anywhere near the recommended amount.
So when this chicken-flovered version that could be administered in drops showed up on my Vine feed, I thought I’d give it a shot. As it turns out, it works much better as it soaks directly into the dry food and, as it’s chicken flavored, it matches the dry he usually eats. He eats his food without noticing a thing and, since I can concentrate it in a limited amount of dry food, I’m assured he’s getting it all when he finishes his bowl.
Currently is appears there might be another round of colds coming around and, just as with the last round, Mr. Picky is showing symptoms first. With this version of L-Lysine by Alivo, we can rest assured he’s getting the proper dosage right away. Happy to have found it.

I have a year old kitty who contracted the herpes virus during a vet visit. Runny nose, sneezing etc. that would not clear up with other products or medication. Tried this and results were outstanding. No more issues BUT he will have to be on it long term…that’s ok cause it works. He loves the flavor and takes it without issue. Highly recommend.

I bought this for the outside strays to enhance their immune system. I feed about 6-7 alley cats and I worry about them during the winter months. They seem to like the flavor and I noticed an increase in their overall health. It’s easy to administer, I mixed it in the food.

The cats love the flavor and smell is pleasant. Reasonly priced. Looks like real gravy. Easy to administer. You can put it in food bowl, water bowl and administer orally. It help when they have eye issues it also help maintain immune health, promote upper respiratory comfort, supports healthy skin and coat, and keeps your cat active and energetic. Works on cat up to 10 lbs and over 10 lbs. Refrigerate the bottle after opening.

Great product. This appears to enhance my cat’s wet cat food flavor. She seems to enjoy her food more. So glad I got the liquid. I have noticed less oozing with her eyes. She is about 7 pounds so I give a half dropper a day. Will be purchasing this again.

So far I’ve had no problem getting my 16 year old cat to take it. I have put it on his food & he seems to like it. I’ve only given it to him twice so I’m not sure how effective it is. I’ll give it a week then I may add or subtract a star.
