My wife and daughter have been fostering newborn kittens for years. While they don’t have any in their care right now, they never know when they will be called upon to take in a litter of babies that desperately need their help. We have used other types of feline bottles and nipples but none that even come close to these. The silicone nipples are soft and pliable and are the perfect size for newborns. The graduated syringe lets you know exactly how much formula they consume which is perfect for tracking their intake as they grow. People who care for and protect defenseless animals, especially newborns, have a special place in my heart.

Used this to help feed a neonatal foster kitten that I was given recently. My vet recommended this shape and said that 1-2wk old kittens take to it better, and she was definitely right. I don’t recommend syringe feeding unless you’re already experienced in it since the chance of aspiration is MUCH higher when you’re controlling the flow yourself, but it can make it easier to feed kittens that don’t latch properly, like in my case. I do like that it includes multiple since I have a lot of fosters start biting on the nipple as they begin to teethe. This made feeding so much easier. That being said, the picture is NOT a good representation of the product. The nipple is probably only half the length of the one in the picture. This WILL impact the ability of larger kittens to latch. I got this specifically because of the long nipple and was a little disappointed to see how short it actually was, but it did still work for me.

This little feeding set is incredibly handy for caring for newborn or very small animals. The silicone nipples are soft, flexible, and gentle, making feedings much smoother and less stressful. I like that the kit comes with replacements, since tiny items tend to get misplaced during hectic moments. The syringe moves smoothly and gives good control over the flow, which is essential when feeding fragile babies. It’s a simple but reliable tool that makes early care much easier.

I never thought I’d be writing an enthusiastic review about a plastic nipple, yet here we are. Welcome to foster-kitten life.
These teeny-tiny silicone nipples are PERFECT for newborn kittens who think bottles are weird and your fingers are chew toys. They’re slow-flow, which means the babies don’t accidentally waterboard themselves during feeding — a huge plus when dealing with 4-ounce gremlins who have zero self-preservation instincts.
They’re sturdy, easy to clean, and the mini size actually fits in those ridiculously small mouths. And honestly? When you’re sleep-deprived, covered in formula, and trying to keep tiny lives thriving… a good bottle nipple is something to celebrate. 🎉
Do I wish they came in a bigger pack? Yes. Do I still feel victorious every time I successfully feed a kitten without getting milk up my sleeve? Also yes.
10/10 — would recommend for anyone bottle-raising the world’s cutest scream machines. 😺🍼💪

Nice little stater kit for small animal feeding. This set includes one 3ml luer lock syringe & 4 short tip nipples. These nipples will work for a decent variety of animals. If you’re caring for animals, you will need more than one syringe. As they need time to sit in warm water, to make the formula warm enough to feed. Any animal you feed, especially ones that have the ability to suckle, need to be fed with quality feeding syringes. This is crucial, especially with young animals, in order to prevent accidental aspiration. The suction caused when the animal is suckling, will make an inferior syringe suddenly plunge all the way down. If the syringe has the ability to suddenly plunge down, it will result in aspiration. This is where formula comes out of the nose, from having entered the lungs. Depending on the severity & frequency of being aspirated with formula, it can lead to pneumonia. To best avoid that, I only use the most reputable feeding syringe, it’s called the Miracle Syringe. The Miracles last a long time if cared for properly, just be sure to put clear nail polish or tape on the markings on the outside, as they dissolve quickly otherwise. The nipples from this kit are good quality & compatible with the Miracle luer lock syringes. Always be sure to wash these soon after using, to avoid any formula build up & improve longevity of your feeding supplies. Warm/hot water rinse usually works, add a tiny bit of dish soap if formula residue remains. In conclusion, these nipples are safe to use on young animals & feel like they’re made with quality rubber/silicone. For safety’s sake, just don’t use the included syringe.

These silicone feeding nipples are PERFECT if you need to help care for small kittens or puppies! The silicone is soft and pliant allowing an easier time getting into those tiny mouths! They are easy to use and made very well! Quality silicone material used. No odors upon opening and no strong chemical smells emitting from product. Still washed before use and very easy to clean! Overall great value for the price! Will definitely use this more in the future!

I thought of giving this four stars just because of the syringe, as a bottle would’ve been 100% better to come with it however, the nipples alone are worth the five stars. Do not use a syringe on a neonate unless you’re experienced in doing so.
If you are in cat rescue and you deal with neonates, these are an absolute must. The bottles that are usually in pet stores are good and suitable for 3 to 4 week old kittens however newborns really have a tough time latching so that’s where these come in. And it’s always very helpful to have these on hand even if you don’t have kittens right now you never know.
I will say, however, that unless you are a very experienced bottle feeder, do not use the syringe. When syringe feeding a kitten, you can easily aspirate them. Also do not ever feed them on their back like a human baby, they will aspirate this way as well. Besides, it’s so much more joyous to sit there and have them on their belly and watch their little ears wiggle when they are suckling!
So if you’re on the fence or you’re used to miracle nipples, these are a good substitution. Always very handy to have on hand.

I unexpectedly took in some pregnant guinea pigs and ordered this kit so I could be prepared to assist if they needed intervention, and thank goodness I did. One litter needed feeding every 2 hours for the first week. I didn’t use the included syringe, I used a 1 mL instead, but the silicone piece still fit over it and the babies had no trouble latching on.
