I think this product is very much cat dependent and based on their personality. I wanted to try the Bio PetActive CatiMalt Plus Hairball Remedy for my senior cat who is prone to hairballs. Unfortunately, he wants nothing to do with this product. I have made several attempts to get him to try it with no success. He will not lick it off my finger or his nose and putting it on his paw literally gave him a cat meltdown. So, this hairball remedy is a no go for him.

I wasn’t familiar with this brand, but our cats seem to like it. Not sure yet if it will prevent the hair ball problem. Easy enough to squeeze out, cats like it direct from the tube. Best price I’ve found so far for this type of treatment.

Product: Bio PetActive CatiMalt Plus Hairball Remedy for Cats
I have a kitty with medium-long, silky fur, so she’s prone to hairballs. My objective with any type of hairball control product is for the hairballs to pass one way or another. I don’t want her getting any kind of blockage from them. That is the most that I have ever achieved with any product, whether this type of product or her food. This product seems to work as well as anything I’ve used.
This is the first time I’ve used a product with slippery elm bark. This product has the feel of a petroleum-based product. I mean it has that type of texture. It is thick and viscous. I’m unsure of the flavor, but she will take it off my finger, although not quite as enthusiastically as some products I’ve used. She’s gotten better over time. I suppose she overcame her caution with something new. I’m completely unsure of the dosage, since 3 grams or 5 cms doesn’t mean a whole lot to me. I just squirt a blob on my finger. She hasn’t experienced any unwanted effects using this product.
The box came sealed. It has a manufactured and expiration date. The shelf life is about two years. They say to use it within two months of opening the tube. It is a product of Turkey.

Unfortunately my kitty did not like the taste at all. There’s no way to get this into her. She’s a long haired Maine coon with weekly hairballs. Still looking….

Anyone with a cat knows it is a roll of the dice ordering something they need but may or may not eat. A hairball remedy is one of those items, and I am pleased to say this works as well as any I’ve tried, both in getting my girl cat to eat it and in helping with hairballs. She seems to be fine with the taste and thickness is not an impediment to her eating it. It is easy to use and comparable value for money with others. I like that it is natural and goes down easy, and it seems to do the job. Recommended if you are willing to give it a try with your finicky fur baby.

Bio PetActive CatiMalt Plus Hairball Remedy for cats comes in a 3.38 ounce tube. The consistency is similar to toothpaste.
I like that the ingredients are natural, including slippery elm bark, psyllium seed, and biotin, and that it’s a high-fiber product. It actually smells good.
My cat likes most malt-style hairball remedies, and he really likes this one. I prefer that it’s more of a soft paste and not greasy because he licks it right off of my finger. He hasn’t been coughing lately, so it seems to be doing what it’s supposed to do.
I recommend this product.

I picked this up hoping it would help with hairballs, and so far it really seems to be doing the job. What’s funny is how differently my cats react to it: one of them goes absolutely wild for this like it’s a Churu treat, while the other two sniff it with dramatic disdain and walk off. To be fair, those two have always preferred chewable hairball treats anyway, so I’m still happy that one of them loves this. Easy to use, no mess, and genuinely seems to help.

This hasn’t helped with the hairball yet. My cat hates it. But I give it daily to stop the puking.

El aroma atrae a los gatos de inmediato, pero el producto es muy denso y se hace difícil de lamer, así que debes ponerlo directamente sobre la lengua del gato.
