My mom’s very spoiled and picky senior cat Ruby is a nightmare in trying to give any kind of medicine to. She has stomach issues, fur issues and Allergies. Mom had given up on trying to give her medications either oral or mixed in with her food. When I saw this product I thought I would give it a try. It arrived in a well protected package. It is a dark color glass bottle which insures it remains safe and effective until it used. There are no fillers and all ingredients are are essential vitamins and minerals necessary for her well being. We have noticed that her watery eyes are getting much better and less frequent. She is on a special food for her stomach issues and I am expecting it to help in supporting her as well. Her fur is also seems to be improving also. I was really impressed with this product and mom is happy that she doesn’t mind the taste and gobbles her food down with no issues and that it is helping with her elderly issues. This is definitely worth the price and rating.

I manage a feral colony. These cats are not easily caught let alone medicated. Most of them have feline herpesvirus, which can cause anything from runny eyes to ulcerated eyes to blindness. Our rescue vet always recommends we dose the cats in their food with lysine. Issues I’ve had in the past were that the human lysine capsules are messy and slow, and they don’t really absorb into the dry food, so it causes refusal for some cats. Surprisingly, several feral kitties love the taste of the unflavored opened capsule, but it’s not universal. These lysine drops are “chicken” flavored and none of the ferals seem to mind it at all. Additionally, they contain some other things that are good for cats, and hopefully help their immune systems in general. They contain taurine, vitamin A, four B vitamins, zinc, and a little bit of probiotic. All great for outdoor cats. They do not contain B-12 but that’s ok, we can add that separately. Dosing multiple cats can be tricky because it’s more of an art than a science, but I just put one dropper full (1ml) per each cup of food. I try to get it evenly distributed and mixed well. Smaller cats eat less, so the estimation seems to be about right. I’ve been using this supplement for one colony since November 26 (approximately 1week) and I haven’t seen any worsening of any symptoms. I’ll come back if anyone in the colony has any additional issues that might be from this supplement, but right now, I’m happy with the product!

5 stars because my rescue boy actually eats it unaccompanied and he is so picky about every single thing. I thought I would have to fight, struggle, or hide this in something, so in his Churu dish, I put a dropper full of this and then went to get a packet of the Churu to add.
When I returned with it, my kitty was licking this formula right out of the bowl. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I have about 6 supplements of this type he has detected and refuses to consume just sitting around.
I was so happy to have gotten 2 big bottles of this for him which should last for a good while.
I live in a super old apartment and it is quite dusty and my boy has allergies, so the vet recommended I give him a supplement of this type to help him out in the winter because he is indoors and the windows are closed up till spring.
So far, it has worked just as well as any I’ve tried, and since he just eats it out of the bottle I surmise it is a bit more effective because he is actually consuming it every day. I will purchase this because if you’ve ever had to deal with a picky cat and giving them anything, you know exactly what I mean and you just stick with the things that work. This is easy to do and works.

These drops arrived at exactly the right moment, because a couple of my cats have been battling seasonal allergies with this sudden weather shift. Ragweed is high, the air is dry, and the sniffles and sneezes have settled in — not just for humans, but for cats, too. Two of my babies had watery eyes and stuffy noses, so they became my little volunteers for this product.
I was honestly surprised by the first big win: they actually like the taste. One of my boys is a tiny, determined medical detective — the kind who can detect anything hidden in food from three rooms away. You can’t sneak meds into food, treats… nothing. If he suspects medicine, he simply walks away with all the confidence in the world while I stand there defeated.
So when I saw he’d need half a dropper full, I braced myself. This little guy has sent me away more than once with a bleeding finger while he sits there looking proud of himself. But to my shock and gratitude… he liked it. He took the drops. Willingly. I didn’t have to pry open his mouth on day two. If these manufacturers would please flavor all his medications this way, my hands would greatly appreciate it.
After just a few days, both of my boys showed clear improvement — their watery eyes dried up, their sneezes slowed, and the stuffiness eased. They genuinely seem more comfortable.
Before starting these drops, I checked with my vet, and he confirmed that the ingredients are healthy and appropriate for most cats. That reassurance mattered to me, and I’m happy to know the quality matches the claims.
I’m grateful for this little bottle — it helped my babies through a rough allergy patch, and I’m glad to have it on hand for future digestive or immune-support needs, too.
Recommend: 5/5.
🐾 Snow’s Mini Review (Cats’ Perspective)
Ahem. Snow here.
The one with the magnificent fangs and a long history of defending my mouth from all foreign invaders (a.k.a. “medicine”).
Let me begin by saying: I do not take kindly to liquids being aimed at my face. Mother calls it “helping me.” I call it “an ambush.” Normally, the moment she approaches with a dropper, I activate my POWERS — Twist, Dodge, Chomp, Flee. She ends up with holes in her fingers. I end up victorious.
But then… this stuff showed up.
And — I can’t believe I’m admitting this —
I liked it.
I took the first dropper with suspicion.
The second day… I didn’t even fight. I voluntarily opened my majestic mouth. I practically undermined my entire reputation as a fearsome, medicine-resisting creature.
And worst of all?
It helped.
My eyes stopped leaking. My nose stopped sounding like a tiny broken accordion. I began breathing like a noble house panther once more.
So yes. Fine.
I approve of this “L-Lysine thing.”
But I want the record to show:
I allowed this.
Voluntarily.
Do not expect this level of cooperation with ANY other medicine.

My vet diagnosed feline herpes after I brought in my newly adopted cat (former stray) due to sneezing, runny nose, and a watery eye. Said she probably got it from living in the cat colony for 2+ years.
The vet prescribed some medication but there was no way I was getting that in her nostrils. I called to see if they had any other ideas and was recommended lysine supplements.
I did a lot of research. As with everything, there were bad things about giving her lysine regularly, and that it’s an old-fashioned cure. I’ll let you do your own research on that.
Anyways, her first bout with the herpes cleared itself up on its own. But then she started showing symptoms again, and this time she wasn’t getting better. Since she’s about to have a tooth pulled and her teeth cleaned, I wanted to get her healthy first so she will recover faster.
We’ve been mixing it with her morning wet food and she’s been eating it no prob. The first few days showed no improvement. Then slowly, her eye started clearing up (still watery at times but not all the time), less wheezing, less nose discharge. Today is day ten and she finally seems like she kicked it! We’re 12 days out from surgery so we’ll keep giving it to her. Might lower the dose a bit though.
Just from my research, I think I’ll start giving her a couple doses a week for maintenance, obviously will increase that if she has another outbreak.
Anyways, not cheap but cheaper than a vet visit. And I don’t have to squirt anything in her nostrils. I’m overall impressed but I’m going to be cautious with how often and how much I give her.
Btw, she’s ten pounds and gets a full dropper daily (for now).

Easy to give to our feral cats. Don’t know how well it works yet, have to give it some time.

My cat has stomatitis. So about twice a year he has flareups and with those he ends up with runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes…….just a hot mess. Giving supplements has proven challenging. I’ve tried powders and purees and had been looking for a liquid L Lysine. Very glad to have come across this one. It doesn’t carry a loud smell like the powders. Isn’t noticeable mixed into the food like the purees. My cat tolerated it well and by day 4 of use was breathing without trouble and sneezing reduced by about 90%. Good product. Nice supply amount. Only drawback I found was the dosage dropper is just a little weak. It doesn’t pull a full dose on a single squeeze. Other than that I recommend it especially if you have cats who won’t touch their food when they can sense the supplements in it.

I feel like embarrassed for not trying this sooner. One of our senior kitties has an ongoing issue with eye crusting and sniffles, especially in winter. I honestly didn’t expect much from this product and was pleasantly surprised. He is the pickiest eater of the group and refused to eat the dosed food for a couple of days. We put it in his favorite treat, Lickables and still no action. So, we gave it to the other 2 senior cats in front of him. By day 3, after watching the other 2 cats get his treats, he decided that the new flavor was fine and started eating it. Now, no problem at all. He is fine with it. I waited to do this review because I wanted to see how it worked for a while first. I learned how important Lysine is for my elderly kitties.
The outcome: I was shocked to see the eye crusting disappear (down about 90%) within a couple of days. I normally clean the crust every morning. But by day 3, there was no crust. No more cleaning Ginger’s eyes. Also, the sniffles stopped. It really worked. I am completely surprised with the outcome and feel foolish for not using Lysine earlier.
The other cats: We only bought it for the one, but the other 2 senior cats were also affected by eating his doses. They became more active and demanding for attention. It’s like they took a drink from the fountain of youth. So now, we will need to use 3 times our planned use, but I don’t mind because the effect is amazing.
Taurine and Vitamin B-complex: It offers more than Lysine. Taurine is included which is incredibly important for kitties. Cats only source of taurine is in their food and most pet food contains the absolute bare minimum. Many cats just don’t get enough in their food. We have supplemented taurine powder in their Lickables treats for years. Now they get it in this supplement along with a vitamin B complex that is also important for the kitties.
Excellent value: I am extremely surprised by the difference this supplement made with my elderly kitties, especially Ginger. This supplement is reasonably priced, my elderly picky cats are willing to eat it, and it has made an incredible difference in their health. If your cats need Lysine, then this supplement offers excellent value and more benefits than expected.
Probiotics: It also contains lactobacillus acidophilus, the same probiotic that we benefit from in quality yogurt to help digestion. My kitties are tolerating it well. They are digesting better and activity level is like several years ago. They are much happier and energetic.
I consider it a blessing to have an opportunity to review this Lysine supplement. I didn’t know that it would have such a positive impact on my Ginger kitty. And I never expected that it would benefit by other senior kitties. Ginger and friends say, “Thank you.”

I ordered this L Lysine supplement for my cat who deals with respiratory issues. I have been giving him L Lysine for a long time in many different forms because it is known to help with things like sneezing, watery eyes, nasal discharge, and general immune support. It has always been part of my routine with him, and I was hopeful that he would take to this one especially well because of the chicken flavor.
Unfortunately he did not care for it as much as the last one I used. This one has more of an oily consistency, whereas the previous one he loved was more like a gravy. With that one I could give it to him straight from the dropper and he would lick it right up. With this one he could not be less interested. I tried giving it to him directly and he wanted nothing to do with it.
However when I mix it into his food he eats it just the same as always, so as a food additive it works fine. It blends in pretty easily and does not change his appetite. Since L Lysine has helped him in the past with his respiratory issues I will continue to give it to him this way.
The supplement does have some good qualities. It is all natural, contains no GMOs or artificial additives, and includes additional nutrients to support overall wellness and digestion. The two pack is also convenient and gives you a decent amount for daily use.
Overall it is fine if you plan to mix it with food. As something to give straight from a dropper it was a no go for my cat, but mixed into his meals it works well enough and still provides the support he needs.
