Customer Review –
This is an extremely small litter box. It DOES say that it’s for small and medium cats, but I think that it’s too small to be practical even for my smallest cats, which are in the 7.5 – 8lb range. I would definitely classify them as medium at best but I suppose others may have a different interpretation of what a medium sized cat is.
In the event we get another kitten, this will be a solid box for them to start out with. It’s stainless steel – so it will clean easily, and not harbor bacteria in the way that a plastic litter box that’s constantly getting the surface scratched up from cat claws and scooping would.
The low entry is appreciated. We have owned tripods and it truly can be difficult for them to get into a Litter Robot or into a “regular” walled litter box. The low entry point definitely solves that issue, but it creates another potential issue in allowing litter to more easily be kicked and tracked out of the low wall.
I think like with most things in life, this will come down to a toss up about which features are the most important for you and for your cats’ needs.

This litter pan has two large barcode stickers on it that do not peel off and are very hard to remove – one on the bottom and one on the side. I removed the one on the side, but it was very difficult even using acetone (rubbing alcohol helped more I think). On a positive note, the stainless steel holds up just fine against acetone and rubbing alcohol. The metal is plenty thick and sturdy for a litter pan and was easy to clean (not counting the sticker).
The cutout for the entry is a raw metal edge with a removable rubbery edge cover. This makes it more annoying to clean because you can’t just spray down the thing, or water (and gunk) will get trapped under the rubber edging. You’d have to remove the edging to dry off the raw sharper metal edge underneath every time. Because of that I will probably just use this as a little storage bin and look for a different stainless steel litter pan.

I really like the concept of the stainless steel litter box because it’s very easy to clean and it doesn’t keep the smell like the plastic does.
I was hoping for a little bit of a bigger litter box, but it still gets the job done.
I do not care for how low it goes for the cats to go in and out as I noticed my cat kick out a lot of litter carrying

This stainless steel cat litter box with low entry is really convenient for my cats. I like that the low entry makes it easy for older or smaller cats to get in and out without jumping. The stainless steel feels sturdy, cleans easily, and doesn’t retain odors like plastic boxes. The only minor issue is that the edges can be a little sharp, so I have to handle it carefully when washing. Overall, it makes litter maintenance much easier and my cats seem to like it.

I was really excited about this box and picked it up specifically for my older cats, who are starting to have a harder time stepping over the high sides of our current setup.
The lower entry is a great idea and would absolutely help senior cats (or cats with mobility issues) get in and out more comfortably. The material and overall design are solid, and it clearly serves the purpose it’s intended for.
Now for the part that made me laugh at myself: potential buyers, please pay very close attention to the measurements. This litter box is very small, like kitten-sized small. My very much not kitten-sized cats (10–12 pounds each) can technically fit, but just barely, and it looks… comical.
That said, this was 100% a me problem! I didn’t pay enough attention to the dimensions when ordering, and I can’t knock off stars for my own oversight. If you’re shopping for kittens, very small cats, or have limited space and know exactly what you’re getting, this could be a great option. Just measure twice and order once!

This metal litter box seems to be made of really good quality, durable material. The metal feels sturdy and well-built, and it honestly the material reminds me of a baking sheet or pan in the best way — simple, clean, and solid. One thing I really like is the low entry, which makes it much easier for cats to get in and out. Because of the size, I do think this would be best suited for a kitten or a smaller cat, and definitely a one-cat household. This would not be sufficient for multiple cats.
I’ll be honest — I didn’t realize just how small it was, which is completely on me for not reading the measurements closely enough (lol). That said, it’s actually so well made that we may end up repurposing it as a cat bed instead. The metal does smudge very easily, so you’ll notice fingerprints, but that’s expected with this type of material.
One of the biggest perks is how easy this will be to clean. Since it’s metal, it shouldn’t hold onto urine odors the way plastic litter boxes can, so with regular cleaning it should really help maintain a good-smelling home. There were two very tiny dings when it arrived, but they’re not noticeable to the touch and don’t affect the function at all.
Overall, this is a really well-built, good-quality litter box with a low entry, making it easier for cats to get in and out. It’s sturdy, easy on the eyes, and even easier to clean. Despite the size not working out for our needs, I would still definitely recommend it for the right situation.

I volunteer with a local cat rescue group and Foster cats and kittens until they’re ready to be adopted. I’ve typically used inexpensive plastic litter pans inside the kennels but over time they get scratched and harbor odors and bacteria no matter how many times I disinfect them. When I saw this small sized stainless steel litter pan with the low side I knew it would perfect for using inside kennels for kittens.
The stainless steel cleans easily just by rinsing with soap and hot water, the litter scoops out easily and does not stick to the pan as it does with plastic. It does not harbor odor and is easy to disinfect in between litters of kittens. The low sides means even the small kittens have no problem getting in and out of the pan.
I also have a kitten that has cerebral hypoplasia and this would be a great pan for her as well because the low side would make it easy for her to get in and out without losing her balance.
It came with a rubber piece around the lip of the pan. I don’t know if this was meant to be removed or not, but I have left it intact as to create a softer cushion along the open edge for the cats to climb in and out over.
I am very pleased with this litter box. The size is perfect for my needs. The ability to clean easily is a definite plus! This is a great litter pan for anyone who has kittens, senior or disabled cats. I would highly recommend this stainless steel litter pan over the plastic ones.

My aging cat can easily enter and exit the new “box”…no accidents now. The stainless steel makes cleaning up after her much cleaner. Worth the $$.
