I got this for my grandpa’s horse and it is very easy to administer. The oral suspension is simple to measure and give, and the flavor seems to be palatable, so the horse takes it without any trouble. I did a bit of research and decided that this was a good item to add to my animal first aid kit. Since I have a long drive to go to a pet store (or an emergency veterinarian), it makes a lot more sense to have supplies on hand and ask the vet for advice on use when you see them for other business. It’s one of those “I hope I never need it” supplies. Do your own research or ask your veterinarian, it may or may not be right for your situation.

You are juggling feeding, cleaning, and the regular craziness of the day when you have numerous animals, so the only way you can be successful is by having a straightforward process that you can repeat without any doubt. Because of this, I was able to establish a process that could be repeated and did not need frequent guessing or a lengthy setup each time. As a result, I actually followed through with the process rather than fearing the next step altogether. Because the instructions were so easy to understand, I never found myself in a position where I was unsure of what the following step should be. I devised a predetermined time slot that coincided with my daily responsibilities, maintained a brief checklist, and made sure that I did not second-guess myself in order to keep on track. Uncertainty is what creates delays when you are already exhausted, and delays are what inevitably lead to the failure of any strategy. It was possible for me to administer it without turning the situation into a conflict, and I did not wind up with a lot of mess or cleaning later. This practical aspect is important since animals are able to recognize patterns. If each effort is unsuccessful, they will begin to hide or put up resistance, and the procedure will get more difficult with each passing day. The routine did not become a daily issue for me since it remained peaceful enough that my dogs did not start avoiding me when it was time. This prevented the routine from becoming a daily quarrel.

I got this for a stray cat that’s having a lot of stomach issues. It seems to have worked but, although the cat trusts me, it hates this taste. I use a syringe to measure out and do it in one shot. However, the cat makes every effort to spit it out. I did notice, if you drip a drop on the cement floor, it stains it white. I’m not sure if it’s chemicals or just the medication. I do think it works but it will be hard to get the cat to accept it. I’ve also tried to mix it with gravy water so I can help it go down. It seems to work better.

I got this to have on hand for my lambs in case we run into coccidiosis again. I usually use a harsher, longer-dose medication that the lambs absolutely hate, so I’m really looking forward to trying a quality product that’s gentler and effective.
I wasn’t expecting it to be alfalfa-flavored, but that’s a huge plus… the lambs are going to love the taste and it will make it much easier to administer. The bottle is small, but it’s concentrated, so I’m hopeful it will last through multiple treatments.
Overall, I’m glad to have this ready for the next time we see early signs of parasites.

This product is a game changer, I love how easy it is to use. I had been administering amprolium based treatments, which are the most common. However, due to the mechanism of being a thiamine blocker, amprolium was ending up causing other problems.
I decided to try a different approach, and this product really did the trick. I noticed symptoms, treated the water as directed, and repeated the treatment a week later. The symptoms cleared up, and there were no vitamin deficiency problems. I did not notice any reluctance to drink the treated water, so it seems the taste was accepted.
Some animals are not as vulnerable to deficiency, and amprolium is a good choice for those animals. However, if you’re raising animals that don’t do well with amprolium, this is an effective alternative for treating coccidiosis.
