I’ve officially lost my home to a sea of tiny, colorful fuzzballs, and honestly? I’m not even mad about it. I bought this 200-pack thinking it would last at least a month, but my cats have turned into professional chaos magicians and managed to teleport several of them under the refrigerator within the first hour. They are absolutely thrilled with these things and treat every single pom pom like it’s a high-stakes hunt. It is pure comedy watching them scat across the hardwood floors after a bouncy ball that weighs approximately zero grams.
The best part for me is the “quiet play” promise because my cats usually prefer “bowling with silverware” 3 AM zoomies. These balls are so soft and silent that I can actually sleep while they’re having a full-blown rave in the living room. Plus, with 200 in the jar, I don’t have to go on a rescue mission under the couch every five minutes, I can just throw them another one.. and repeat for the rest of my life as long as I can order these. If you want to keep your cats entertained and your sanity intact while laughing at their ridiculous zoomies, just buy the giant jar of fluff.

These pom pom balls are OK in terms of softness and bounce, and I can see why many cats would enjoy batting them around. But they are smaller than you might expect, even though the listing states the size. Because of that, I personally don’t feel comfortable using them.
I have a Maine Coon who has a habit of eating things she shouldn’t, and after a very expensive emergency vet visit where she had to stay 5 days, I’m extremely cautious about small toys. I also foster dogs for a local rescue, and these would be way too small for most dogs and easily swallowed. Even for cats, I wouldn’t leave these out unsupervised.
If these were the same soft, smooshy texture but over 2″ in diameter, I’d feel much better about them. As they are, they may work for some households, but if you have curious cats, dogs, or pets that like to chew or ingest toys, I’d recommend caution.

If you have a cat that loves to chase, bat, and carry toys around, this 200-piece set of HA SHI Pom Pom Balls is a total lifesaver. The sheer quantity you get for the price is unbeatable—it finally solves the age-old problem of toys disappearing under the couch or fridge. Since they come in such a massive pack, it doesn’t matter if a few go missing; there’s always a fresh one ready for action. My cats are absolutely obsessed with them and will spend hours sprinting across the house, keeping themselves entertained and active.
What really sets these apart is the thoughtful design for indoor living. They are soft and lightweight, making them incredibly quiet even during late-night “zoomies,” so you won’t be woken up by the sound of plastic clattering on the floor. The 1.2-inch size is perfect for cats to pick up in their mouths and carry like “prey,” yet large enough to be safe for play. The quality is excellent—they don’t shed or fall apart easily despite constant batting and biting. This is easily one of the best investments I’ve made for my pets’ happiness!

Most of the balls are super tiny. Choke hazards.

Wish I read other reviews. Only 25 of these are safe for cats, the others are way too small and choking hazards. Most are pea sized. False advertising as cat toys when they should be sold as arts and crafts supplies.

Many years ago I realized my kitties loved craft balls. I couldn’t really find them marketed for cats so I always purchased them from the craft section. Long story short I saw these and knew I had to order them for my kitties I have now and I am so glad I did. They were a hit just like my kitties I had when I was younger.
They are a nice size and they are nice and soft. The quality is nice and they are light and fluffy which honestly seems to be the key. I think it’s the lightness of them and the ease of batting them around that makes for the perfect cat toy. My one kitty loves to play with ice. I know it’s because it easily glides around the floor and it’s easy to bat at. So I knew these would be a hit too. They love to bat them around and have a ball with them.
I love how they come in a set of 200. It may seem like a lot but trust me you will go through them quickly. They will get lost and they will get stuck in places. But your cats will love them and when you accidentally step on them you won’t feel a thing:)

My younger cat absolutely adores these. She actually jumps up to catch them, pounces on ones hanging out on the floor, or just bats them everywhere. So glad I tried these, she’s been tough to entertain. Even her big sis plays with them between naps. So light and quiet!!!!

These pom pom balls have been a big hit in our house, especially with my kitten. The size is one of the first things I noticed. They’re larger than most cat pom poms, which makes them easier for him to spot and chase. They bounce really well and move in an unpredictable way, which definitely keeps the game going.
They’re super lightweight. My kitten loves batting them across the floor, carrying them around, and pouncing on them, and there’s no loud rattling or hard plastic noise. That makes them perfect for indoor play, especially in the evenings or early mornings when you don’t want a ton of noise.
The 200 piece set sounds excessive at first, but it’s actually very practical. Toys always seem to vanish and having plenty on hand means I can rotate them out or toss a few into different rooms without worrying. It’s also great for enrichment. My kitten doesn’t get bored as quickly when there are always a few “new” ones to discover.
The bright colors really do grab his attention, and the pom poms have held up well so far. They keep their shape, don’t shed much fuzz, and are easy to clean if they pick up hair or dust. The soft, springy texture feels safe for a kitten, and the larger size gives some peace of mind compared to smaller toys.
These are a simple but surprisingly effective cat toy. They’re fun, quiet, durable, and perfect for kittens who need lots of stimulation and exercise. If you’re looking for an easy way to keep your cat active and entertained, these are a great option. A sincerely great value for the money if you love to play with your cats or watch them play.

My cat loves these balls. She plays mostly running back and forth trying to get them when I toss them. Good thing is she gets alot of exercise! She will be 2 in October so these are perfect to keep her moving and active. Just wish she would not start up again at 5am, what ya gonna do. Buy more.

Not a good buy for cats! I don’t know why I didn’t read the reviews because I normally do, but the majority of these are way too small and unsafe for cats. I’m sure my cat would be eating all of these if I let him, lol. Anyway, there was about 20 I could use for him and the rest I’m going to give to someone to use for crafts. I’m not sure why they are advertised as cat toys but they should not be.

These are basic craft store pom poms. There is no special scent or decoration to attract or engage cats. They are well-made, soft, and slightly bouncy (about 1″ of bounce when you drop it on the floor). My cats play with them for about 10 seconds every time they see one. Despite the claim that these are large enough to not slip under furniture, my cats have already amassed a collection of them under the couch and stove.

I grabbed these balls for two reasons: to have more toys for my cats, but also for my toddler who enjoys playing with balls of all sizes. Because the description of this product says “bouncy” I was thinking that these would be bouncy balls that are soft on the outside. I have a larger version of that style, so I know they exist. Unfortunately, these are not what I would call bouncy. They are slightly larger poms like the ones that you can get from a craft store. Despite not being what I expected, we still have had great enjoyment from these. My toddler immediately wanted to open the jar as soon as she saw it. She enjoys picking out the different colors, counting the balls, and throwing them around all over the place. The cats enjoy them as well as they’re large enough to be pretty easy to grab with their mouths. Leaving small objects all over the house is a favorite activity of my cats, so I knew this would be a hit for them. Also, there’s something about their material that’s really nice. I can’t put to words how they feel, but they’re just nice for sensory reasons. Overall, I’d recommend this product as a good value product for those looking for slightly larger pom balls for your cats or toddlers to play with, but I did dock a star since these are not bouncy balls as the description states.

My cats don’t go crazy for this like they do some toys, but they do play with it on a regular basis. As we all know a box that the item came is their favorite toy. But this comes with so many little fluffy balls that your cat can play with that I have no problem, just scooting them throughout the house and letting my cats find them as they go along and play with them. And so far I’ve had it for over a month and I’ve only had to use a handful of them. And my cats have destroyed them and they play with them at least a few times a day along with the other toys I have for them of other brands and items, but they do play with these and they are actually lasting. They’re not falling apart and a crazy thing is I haven’t even used a quarter of the bucket so I still got over 3/4 of the bucket to use if and when these things get lost or destroyed all all, I think this is a good deal just to have a bunch of little fluffy balls around your house where your cats can get interested in playing with

Cats love this. Throwing or chasing the balls

Lots of puff puff balls for kittens to play with.

Most of the balls were too small for a kitten to play with; they can choke. 800 mostly tiny and small-sized balls measures about only 4-5 cups. Not enough to fill a box for cat play time. I returned them.
