The quality is excellent; our kittens are noticeably enjoying the freshly filtered, clean water, which is always a relief to see. They’re super easy to pop into place, making fountain maintenance a breeze for our busy team. While filters aren’t durable in the traditional sense, these consistently perform, effectively lasting until their next scheduled change. A must-have for any rescue!

These replacement filters swap in quick and easy. It only takes a few seconds. The filtration system uses activated charcoal, ion exchange resin, KDF media, and a sponge that will catch larger things like hair before it goes into the pump. These seem to work just as good as the original, and maybe even a bit better. The water seems to stay clearer much longer and the fountain noes not seem to develop that pet water smell as quickly. Just remember to give each filter a quick soak and rinse before using it to wash away any charcoal dust. The package includes both the main filters and the foam sponges which is great for me because I like to stock up instead of ordering every month. It is recommended to change the filters every 2 to 4 weeks and you should clean the pump regularly to keep things clean and running smooth. I don’t like waiting until the filter is clogged up, so I usually change the filter more frequently than others, but I just like having clean, clear water for the pets. These filters work very well and come in a large enough package so you don’t have to order repeatedly.

I purchased the Voluas cat water fountain, which has been a game changer for my elderly kitty. These filters are perfect for it. In the beginning I didn’t realize they lasted a month so I went through them pretty quickly. Now that I know better, I’m even happier with this purchase.
The reason I took off one star is because the description is misleading. My fault completely for not closely reading the description of course, but at a glance it’s not immediately obvious that you’re buying only 10 filters.
Aside from that small detail, these are excellent filters! Now if only I could find a pump I didn’t have to pull apart to clean every week!
