I have a lot of cats and I’m always looking for new things for them to keep them entertained and keep my furniture in tact.
These are very nice woven chew balls. They come 6 in a package. Each ball has pastel colors, which is nice. They also have a mild rattle sound, which draws my cats attention to them. But isn’t noisy enough to drive myself or my family members insane, especially at 1am, which seems to be their prime playtime. I was a little nervous that these would be like the sisal rope or fabric, which I hate, but thankfully they aren’t.
Each ball is almost 2 inches in diameter. Thankfully they are big enough for entertainment, but not small enough to be put under my couches, fridge, stove or any other little space that the cats can find to horde toys.
The woven material is really nice. It seems to hold up a lot better than other toys that my cats can destroy in record time.
I have a few cats who play fetch better than my dog and these are still light enough for them to pick them up and take them wherever they would like.
The only problem I would say is that there is only 6 and I have a lot more than 6 cats, so I will definitely have to get more because they do not believe in “sharing is caring”; it’s more like “all mine, so get in line”, especially when catnip is involved.

This review is for the Zasle brand 6-Pack of Rope Cat Toys with Crinkle Sound.
My cat is a scaredy-cat and can be intimidated by loud or large toys, or automated toys that move by themselves. Therefore, she is most engaged by non-mechanical smaller toys that she can swat, grab, and chase. Our house is littered with toys like this. Most balls quickly get swatted under furniture or out of sight. Balls such as crinkle or rattan balls are crushed in short order (by us stepping on them).
These Zasle brand balls were just the right size and material to circumvent some of these problems.
They are about the size of a golf ball. They are tightly wrapped in smooth rope similar to clothesline that has a close weave and doesn’t fray easily like yarn. The way the rope is wrapped means the balls roll well, but one swat doesn’t send them across the room and out of sight. On carpet in particular they are easy to play with because they stay closer to the cat. The rope covering also makes these Zasle balls “grabbable” — my cat likes to embrace fabric toys, for instance, and wrestle with them. She can do that with these balls. She also LOVES having her toys sprayed with catnip spray, and the rope on these toys quickly takes on catnip spray without it being drippy or requiring a lot of spraying.
My cat isn’t too excited by sounds (except when they are loud enough to startle her). The listing for these Zasle balls says they have a crinkle sound. The balls are firm and stiff so they can’t crinkle like a crinkle ball — it sounds like there are some small pellets inside the balls that roll around and make a similar, soft sound. It isn’t obnoxious and doesn’t bother us or our cat.
A nice bonus is that the balls came individually wrapped in the box. This box of 6 durable Zasle brand balls will last us a long time!

The toys are really cute and arrived as described. All 6 were included in the pack, which was nice.
The quality seems okay for the price and they’re lightweight. Unfortunately, my cat wasn’t very interested in playing with them at all.
I tried tossing and rolling them to get her attention, but she just ignored them. Overall, they’re decent toys and well-made enough, but they didn’t work for my cat’s play style.

My cats love these balls. They come individually wrapped in a box which is nice. My two cats were both very intrigued. Even my dog was. The balls seem made very well so if your cats are hard on toys these would be great. They are made mostly of a rope-like material that’s woven so they will hold up for awhile. For 6 balls that are well made its a great buy. Highly recommend!

Set of 6 roped balls – 3 sets of 2 diff colors schemes – pink & blue with yellow, green & pink with yellow, blue & green with yellow. What I personally don’t care for, is they have a little rattle thing inside that makes noise . I personally don’t like the rattle, as well as 1 of my cats does not like things that rattle. WhenI buy any plastic balls for them, I usually have to break it open or put a hole in it & remove any bells or rattles from the inside & make sure it still rolls with any holes I’ve put in it before I give it to them.
As for the word chew balls. These are way too big for the mouth of a cat. Way too big. He might be able to open his mouth and get a tooth in there, or maybe not, but the word chew was definitely meant for dogs. Because these are too big for the mouth of a cat. And my only concern with the ropes, would be if my other cat who still has his teeth, gets a tooth caught in one of the ropes, and gets stuck or pulled, I wonder if it would be an issue or not. Otherwise, this cat has no teeth and it won’t be a problem for him.
As you can see, one of them was interested in them because they’re different colors and he can attack it with his nails and hold onto it. Although they are kind of large, so I was concerned about their size. They generally like smaller tiny things one cat will drag and chase it around the house for 20 minutes of play on his own. He seemed interested for a few moments anyway before moving on. It’s not allowing me to upload the 15 second video of him playing with it, but it keeps giving me a “something went wrong” error … otherwise I’d upload that too.
I’d recommend this item if your cat likes to play with material covered balls. They should last a while

These are really sweet little toys, and my cats were interested in them right away.
What I love most is the sound. There’s a gentle crinkle inside instead of a loud, sharp bell, so it keeps them curious without being annoying or startling. The rope texture is soft but sturdy, and it feels safe for chewing and batting around. None of my cats have been able to tear them apart, even with some pretty enthusiastic play.
They’re a great size for indoor cats to chase, carry, and toss, and the pastel colors are really pretty in person. I also like that it’s a six-pack.
All three of my cats chase these around and seem genuinely entertained by the sound. Simple, well made, and a nice change from noisy bell toys.

These are a cute idea, and the colors are nice if you care about the aesthetic of your cat’s toys. However, my 15-month-old cat hasn’t shown much interest, especially compared to the other toys she has available.
I think the size may be a bit large for her to comfortably carry around in her mouth. The material itself isn’t remarkable—it’s not especially crinkly or textured in the way cats often prefer (like sisal or hemp). There are small beads or fillers inside that make noise, but shaking the toys has never prompted her to come running.
That said, the sound they make is very subtle, which could be a plus if your cat likes to play at night. It’s quiet enough not to be startling or wake a human—though, of course, that doesn’t stop a cat from thundering around on their own.
Overall, cute but not a hit with my cat. Your mileage may vary depending on your cat’s preferences.
