This dog crate pad is excellent quality and far exceeded my expectations. It’s thick, supportive, and very well made, giving my dog a comfortable place to rest without flattening out. The material feels durable yet soft, and it fits perfectly under our large crate without bunching or sliding around.

This mat gives really good coverage and the non-slip padding keeps it in place under the crate. It does take a bit to flatten out since it arrives folded into squares instead of rolled up, but once it’s down, it works fine. The top feels like a soft felt, which is nice for the dogs to lie on and helps absorb accidents. If something does happen, the best way to clean it is to hose it down outside and scrub it by hand. Don’t put it in the washing machine because the rubber backing and adhesive start to crack, and then it loses its non-slip grip. Over time, the felt top will start to pill and get fuzzy, so this isn’t a forever mat, but it’s perfect for protecting floors and adding an extra layer when a pee pad isn’t enough.

Waterproof Crate Pad That’s Trim-able To Size. This extra large dog crate mat is much bigger than we need for our 2 standard sized crates for small to medium sized dogs. But it is easy to measure and cut to size with our shop scissors, and probably any heavy duty scissors. It divides up into 4 good sized pieces suitable for our cages. But since we have only 2 dogs, I cut the pad in half and then folded both pieces in half leaving a carpeted side up and also down which makes the cages easier to slide around the floor for cleaning (see pix). It’s like a BOGO deal for the small dog owner, and we can always divide up the 2 halves later if we need 4 pads or if one side becomes unusable. I like this pad’s flexibility as a ‘trim to fit’ pad for multiple cages, and so I’m rating it 5*.

This is a nice crate mat for preventing sliding and providing a certain degree of waterproof protection. It was thinner than I had expected and would not provide any real cushion for the dog if used as a liner inside the pets crate. For the price it is a decent size and that is primarily where it derives its value, that and the fact that it is nonskid. I plan to use it in my basement for training as the rug where the dog takes off to jump the broad jump. I previously had a different rug there and it would slide when the dog pushed to take off. This new non skid rug is working very well to give him a solid surface to push off from. It would also work well under the crates at dog shows and hotels to help keep them a little warmer and not have the crates sitting directly on a concrete floor. It would provide some waterproof protection for carpets at hotels. I would have liked for the rug to be a bit thicker but it is a decent quality rug and a good size for the price.

This quality crate liner measures 4 foot by 6 foot and can be used inside a crate or to sit a crate on. It can be used with the fabric side up which absorbs liquids and can be washed and reused. It can be used with the waterproof side up, I suggest with pee pads to keep the surface clean and dry. You could use the mat with fabric side up and pee pads to keep the pad cleaner longer. Easy to clean, simply hang the liner up and wash with a garden hose. You can use a mild detergent to help clean the pad then let it drip and dry. Overall, a useful pad for use inside or outside the crate. It can be cut to size if needed. Great for larger dogs and larger crates, or use to sit a crate on because male dogs tend to urinate outside the crate, especially when a female in heat is nearby. I can easily recommend this product for pet use or a variety of other household uses. It is simply a nice short matted rug, waterproof on the bottom with low pile absorbent carpet on the top. One disadvantage is lack of border around the edges- the edges are raw as you can see in the photos. A nice liner with multiple uses.

I have two dogs, one really old and one 2 year old. The two year old can be messy at times and this mat has saved my floor a couple of times, already. As you can imagine, it’s worth every penny! It’s well made and the right size for my apartment. It also makes the floor a bit warmer for my puppy! This is a problem solver and a great value!

It is a very heavy fabric with a solid rubberized lined base. It is designed to be vacuumed and washed off with a hose and will dry out quickly.
It is a little larger than what I need it for, but it is designed to go under a grate for a large dog and will work perfectly for that task. I might cut this in half with a construction knife and get two smaller mats. For now it works great the way it is and stops the litter from being spread all over our hardwood flooring and contains the mess.
This is a good deal at about $40. It looks nicer than the hard plastic crate liners they sell at pet stores.

I love this dog crate floor protector! We have hardwood floors, so I obviously want to protect them from scratches, but there are so many other benefits. Our shepherd mix sheds terribly and it used to just get scattered all over the room. The material actually catches the hair (see photo 3) and keeps it from going everywhere. Then it’s so easy to vacuum it off of the mat. We have a cordless Shark amd it easily picks up the hair without sucking the mat up into the vacuum. The mat doesn’t even move when being vacuumed or when dragging our giant crate off of it. It was also super easy to trim to the space and the size of the crate. Great product and great value!

This is thin, soft fabric that goes well at the bottom of the dog area. We used ours for under the water/food setup we have. It really is large! It isn’t scratchy or rough. It is holding up well after about a month of use, and is easily washable. It absorbs water drips well and doesn’t smell or get stained.

It’s HUGE and can easily be folded to fit into various size crates. The bottom of the liner is a non-slip waterproof rubber and it definitely does it’s job well. Our dogs get the zoomies so when they run, they RUN and skid with reckless abandon. This mat didn’t move from its place on the floor when they were playing. We fold it up to use in the bottom of their crate to create more padding and comfort. So far, so good — they seem to love it. Cleaning is a breeze with just a quick blast in the shower and then hanging dry. For a mat of this quality and size, it’s a great value.

We have a less than one year old German shepherd who gets rambunctious in his crate. His moving around will scoot the plastic liner out from under the crate, which means if he has an accident (he’s still a puppy) it’s all over the floor instead of the liner. Plus if he scoots the liner out he’s standing on the crate wiring which could hurt his paws.
So when we saw this extra large crate Mat it seemed like a great solution.
The good:
1) very sturdy indoor outdoor carpet surface, bonded to a rubberized under liner.
2) the carpet protects the floor, and the rubber under surface prevents it from sliding.
3) our pup still tries to scoot the plastic liner out, with some success, but the mat doesn’t move.
4) extra large crate mat fit our big crate well.
Opportunities:
1) the edges of the mat aren’t sewn. Meaning that the carpet fiber can shed, and potentially get pulled loose by our dog’s nails.
2) the quality of the carpet surface looks and feels like a medium grade. Which may affect how all it holds up over time.
Nevertheless, we have a solution to our problem and we recommend this crate mat.

Big enough for a tiger crate. I use a “medium” sized dog crate for my 25 lb mostly fox terrier rescue. We were able to cut the mat in half and use it for two crates. The bottom is rubber coated to prevent moisture from getting to the floor which is nice. The carpet on top is very short looped and lies flat. It is easy vacuum.
