Prior to my puppy having surgery I ordered a couple of dog e-collars for him to wear so that his sutures wouldn’t be disturbed. So far this cute little donut style inflatable dog collar pillow appears to be his hands down favorite and I can see why. The pillow is similar to a travel pillow. It has a plush exterior with a zipper that encases the inflatable pouch, a hook and loop closure to close the “donut” and finally an adjustable buckle to keep it secured. As I write this, my puppy is snoozing peacefully on the couch and it makes me very happy to see how comfortable he is. When he is awake a feature I like that sets this pillow/collar apart from other cone type post-surgical collars is that it doesn’t compromise his peripheral vision. He can navigate about freely, which has to make his post-surgery recovery much less stressful. I am very pleased with the overall quality and functionality of this product. I found it to be a good value for the money and highly recommend it.

The Inflatable Dog Pillow Cone Collar was a great alternative to the standard plastic cone after my dachshund was spayed. It’s much softer and more comfortable, and it doesn’t block her face or vision like traditional cones do. She was able to eat, drink, and move around normally without bumping into everything. The collar stayed on securely and didn’t slide off, even with her long body and active movements. One of the best features is that it works like a pillow, making it much easier for her to sleep and rest comfortably. She seemed far less stressed wearing this than a regular cone. Overall, it’s a practical, pet-friendly recovery option that offers protection while keeping dogs comfortable and relaxed during healing.

This inflatable dog pillow cone is cute and functional. I am giving 3 stars because the sizing is a bit off. I ordered a small and it is too small for my tiny chihuahua. Usually size small dog products are too big for her. Size up in this product for your pet!

Although marketed for dogs, the Didopet inflatable pillow cone works wonderfully on 4‑6‑month‑old kittens after spay/neuter surgery. The collar inflates to the exact firmness needed, offering a customizable fit that prevents pressure points—an easy‑to‑adjust feature that saves time in a busy rescue. The friendly lightweight design is appealing without being overstimulating and it’s easy on/off and cleaning just add to it’s benefits. It’s a cost‑effective addition to our post‑op kit, ensuring each kitten recovers comfortably.

Super cute and exactly as pictured. Easy to inflate and fits well. Way better than those ugly plastic ones!

Cute and doing the job. When I ordered there wasn’t any size info so, i took my best guess from other ones i’d had and the one I chose is too small, I should have the next size up. My pup is a small 8-9lb toy schnauzer. However, because of the design, I’ve been able to use it as I needed any way. One of my little girls scratched at her head too hard and opened a gash. She does this every so often, then she can’t stop scratching at it. I have other collars like this, they just go round and velcro closed. This one is designed to stick a collar through it, to help hold it and keep it in place. It also has a velcro closure at the bottom. And, for extra security it has a clip. I’m leaving it loose currently and stretched uot the clip for more room. All of the extra loops and things to attach might make it a bit more secure (which might be overkill for small dogs) but cause more irritation points because of them. I also had a hard time with the blow up stem. Normally they will pop out, you blow them up and they tuck back in. This didn’t seem to do that, it just stuck out which caused an additional irritation point for my pup as it kept bumping the back of their neck/upper back area. It is possible I had a defective stem.

I typically don’t write reviews but had to for this item. I purchased this for my French Bulldog specifically for her spay surgery. Not only is the ring absolutely adorable, it works perfectly in keeping her from her wound area without being overly cumbersome for her to move around. It provides optimal mobility opposed to the hard plastic cones; my larger dog has used that style and due to the size and shape, often inhibited him from easily passing through doorways, etc. No problem with this one! The pillow fits comfortably around her neck and has both heavy duty velcro and an adjustable clip to ensure it stays on. It was easy to blow up and 3-days in, still has maintained all the air. She does not seem phased by wearing it and it actually works as a pillow when she’s laying down. And she has no problem being able to eat or drink out of her food bowls. So glad I got this item to make an uncomfortable surgery easier for her to manage.

This inflatable dog collar is much more comfortable than a traditional plastic cone. The donut design is soft and does not block vision, which helps dogs stay calm during recovery. It fits securely and stays in place without slipping.
The collar does a good job preventing licking and scratching after surgery. My dog could still eat, drink, and rest comfortably while wearing it. The watermelon design is cute but still practical. The material feels durable and easy to clean. This is a helpful recovery option for medium sized dogs that need protection without added stress.

I used this inflatable donut collar for my cat and it worked great for preventing licking after surgery. It was a lot more comfortable than a hard plastic cone, and my cat was able to eat, drink, and sleep without constantly bumping into everything. The material feels soft against the neck, and once it’s inflated it holds its shape well instead of collapsing. It also stayed on securely without seeming to bother my cat or restrict breathing. Just make sure you choose the right size and inflate it firmly so they can’t wiggle out of it.
