If you have a cat, especially a senior cat like mine who is going on 18, you know that getting them to just eat anything is 90% of the battle. I’m not sure how effective this is dealing with hairballs as she doesn’t get very many anymore but she certainly likes the taste and it’s worth giving her a dollop of it each evening. It is a little pricey.

Like most cats, mine is a finicky eater. Accordingly, I am unable to comment on the efficacy of this product because she categorically refuses to ingest it, even when I attempt to camoflage it by thoroughly mixing it with her food. She simply sniffs it and walks away. This item has a distinct odor, though not a particularly offensive one, which undoubtely contributes to my cat’s disdain. I intend to try it on a friend’s cat to see whether she’ll prove more receptive to its purported curative properties.

One out of two cats approve of the taste. Simple ingredients. Smells strong of chicken, thick texture Moses well with can cat food. So far I give this ever other day and so far I haven’t seen hairballs piles, unfortunately the one I wanted this for won’t touch it and he’s a mainecoon. Easy to measure since the dropper has the dosages measurements printed on it. Worth it if your felines are having issues in their tummy.

I was drawn to this hairball supplement because of the ingredient list. It includes psyllium husk, cat grass, flaxseed, and other supportive ingredients that make sense for digestion, skin, and coat health. From a formulation standpoint, it looks thoughtful and fairly priced for what you get.
Unfortunately, my cats strongly disliked the smell and would not take it. I tried mixing it into food and offering it different ways, but they refused it every time. Because of that, I cannot really speak to how effective it is for hairballs or digestion since I could not get them to consume it consistently.
If your cat is less picky, this could be worth trying based on the ingredients alone. For my household, the issue was purely palatability, not quality.
Pros
• Well chosen natural ingredients for digestion and hairball support
• Includes fiber, cat grass, and omega fatty acids
• Liquid form is easy to dose in theory
• Fair price for the formula
Cons
• Cats strongly disliked the smell
• Difficult to administer if your cat is picky
Bottom line
This looks like a solid hairball supplement on paper, but it only works if your cat will actually take it. If your cat is sensitive to smells or very selective, this may be a challenge. The value is there, but palatability is the limiting factor.

This says 1 – 2 droppers full for each 10 lbs of cat weight. At first I put it in my cats dinner and mixed it with their food. They refused to eat their food. So then I tried giving it them directly (the same way I give them their other meds) and they literally drooled it out and then hissed at me. My cats dont like this and Im not going to force them. The ingredients are clean and natural (psyllium husk is a good cleanser of the gut) but there is something in it that my cats do not like. Your cats might like it.

This chicken-flavored hairball treatment is a game-changer for kitten care. Highly functional and easy to dose with the included dropper, it’s a breeze to administer. Our kittens not only tolerate it—they love it, eagerly licking it straight from the dropper. Even our adult cats don’t resist, which speaks volumes about its palatability. The quality is consistent, and its effectiveness in reducing hairballs is noticeable within days. It’s a valuable addition to any rescue’s care kit—affordable, reliable, and stress-free to use. For a product that combines ease of use, functionality, and great taste, this earns top marks. A must-have for multi-cat households.
