Its very well made and my cat loves it. I got the bigger one because my cat is 12 pounds and she can stretch a bit in it. You can use either of the inserts. One is a pillow for cooler temps and the other is a mat for warmer temps. my cat likes the mat.

I have bought SO many cat beds over the years. Most are completely ignored. But this basket bed was nearly an instant favorite. Both of my very unique cats love it. They have so far only slept in it, but it’s nice that they could also scratch and play with the attached ball if they so choose.

All our cats love these beds. I had to buy an additional so they would not fight over it. Cushions included is nice also.
Our cats love laying in them and playing with the ball toy. Great value for the money. The quality is good with a great thickness and holds it’s shape.

It took our male cat less than 5 seconds to commandeer the new bed. He absolutely loves it and it fits his long and lean body perfectly. We are not using the mat or cushion so he may scratch the bottom rope at will. He plays with the rope knot regularly. It appears to be well made and hopefully will withstand his scratching for the long term. On the other hand, our female cat seems to be afraid of it so we will not purchase another one for her.

As I was opening the package my kitten was watching me as if she knew it was for her. I put it down on the floor and she immediately jumped in. She really likes it.

One of our cats hates soft things. I don’t know what her reasons are, but she was a stray who showed up in the yard, so maybe she just hasn’t adapted to the good life yet. With the straw mat inside, she still has a place to relax that offers the ever-alluring “cat in box” phenomenon, without putting her off because “eww it’s soft I don’t want to be comfortable” or whatever.
I think I’d prefer that it didn’t have the string with the heavy rope ball hanging off of it, because the aforementioned cat’s kittens (yeah, we’re suckers, fell for the Trojan Cat trick) love to launch themselves at that rope ball, and then the bed is unceremoniously removed from the side table we have it sitting on. I seriously re-place the bed twice per day, minimum. We’ve recently put some anti-skid shelf liner between the bed and the side table, and that helps but doesn’t completely solve the problem.
It looks decent, though the sides of the bed do have a tendency to get squashed down so it doesn’t really retain its oval shape for long without human intervention.
We have no need of the soft pillow intended for winter for this bed at this time, since the goal was to provide a bed for the cat who hates soft things. Maybe she’ll come around – we’ve left it sitting out just in case.

I like this but my cat has no interest in using it. Maybe she will use in the summer when it is warmer. For now it is put away. It seems to be well made
