This is an excellent soft-sided, breatheable pet carrier.
– There are two doors that you can open to let pets in and out
– Both the entire top and bottom unzip
– There’s a sturdy, solid bottom that makes me feel confident a heavier cat will still be supported.
– It can fold flat for storage
– There are two short permanently-attached handles if you want to carry it like a briefcase, and a larger detachable padded shoulder strap
The only real downside to this carrier is that no backpack straps were included! I got it because it was advertised as a backpack carrier, and what’s more, there are plastic and metal loops built into the top and sides where backpack straps could easily be clipped on, but there are no backpack straps! If you extend the padded strap to it’s largest length, you might maybe be able to make some makeshift backpack straps out of it, but it feels very flimsy and not safe for the cat.
I still like this carrier because it really is a very good pet carrier, but I’m incredibly frustrated that it was listed as a backpack carrier, it included pictures of it being used as a backpack carrier, but no backpack straps were included.

I’ve owned a lot of carriers over the years, and I’m always on the hunt for something better than what I have now that will also make my cats as comfortable as possible, since they hate being in the car. As a result, I have a few different carriers in rotation, and I have been looking to replace one or two that have not been working as well anymore. When I had the opportunity to order and review this carrier, I was excited to see if it would fit into the rotation and replace a less desirable option.
This carrier is large enough to fit two cats or a small dog. If you are using it for one cat, they will have plenty of space to stretch out, and even the largest breeds should fit comfortably, although with slightly less room. The exterior is made of black scratch-resistant polyester Oxford fabric and mesh. The top of the carrier zips open like a box with a lid, and there are two metal rings along with two carry straps that attach at the top to form handles for hand carrying. There are mesh windows and an elastic pocket on each side.
If you need to fit this carrier into a smaller space, such as under an airplane seat, you can press down the top of the carrier because it has some flexibility despite being structured. One of the vertical sides has a mesh window. The opposite side has a horizontal strap that allows you to attach the carrier to luggage handles or secure it with a seatbelt during a car ride. Both of these sides zip open, allowing access from the top and from both sides. There is also a ring on each vertical end where you can attach the long strap meant for shoulder carrying.
The carrier gets its structure from the included hard pad, which sits inside and prevents the carrier from sagging when a pet is inside. This pad has a sturdy board at the core, a cushioned layer on top, and is covered with a soft material. You can place your pet directly on the pad for shorter trips, such as visits to the vet or groomer, or add additional cushioning for longer journeys. If your pet is prone to accidents, it may be worth covering the pad with something waterproof, such as a puppy pee pad. There are also two interior straps with clips for securing your pet’s collar or harness, which is helpful since the carrier can hold two cats. The zippers worked fine during use, although, as with any pet carrier, I would prefer to see higher-quality zippers such as YKK.
According to the provided information, you can also convert this carrier into a backpack. Unfortunately, no clear instructions are provided on how to do this. The long strap obviously plays a role, but I had to look up another listing for the same or similar item and watch their videos to figure out how to set it up. I think this is a missed opportunity, and the listing should be updated with proper guidance and either a photo or a video. The carrier is also stated to be airline approved, and because you can compress the top, I can see how it might fit into smaller required spaces. However, you should always check the airline’s approved dimensions and compare them to the measurements of this carrier. If it fits your airline’s requirements, I think your pet will find it very comfortable due to its roomy interior.
I also like to be prepared, though not in an extreme sense, and I have been considering how I would transport my pets in an emergency where I needed to leave home quickly. The fact that this carrier can convert into a backpack makes it a strong option for that scenario. The only improvement I would like to see is some way to protect it from the weather while in backpack mode, although that is easy to solve with an additional cover.
Finally, I want to discuss the value. I think this carrier is made very well, and I can see it lasting a long time unless you have a particularly destructive pet, in which case a soft-sided carrier may not be the best choice. We used it just this week for a quick trip to the vet, and it worked perfectly. Considering the quality and the surprisingly low price at the time of writing, I think this is an excellent value. I have no hesitation recommending this carrier if it matches the style you are looking for, and I would absolutely purchase it again.

A soft-sided carrier that is definitely premium in features, quality and comfort for 1 large cat or 2 smaller cats/kittens. Various ways to carry, secures to car safety belts, adjustable for comfort, removable premium base pad for easy cleaning and made of scratch and bite resistance mesh that provides 2-way visibility, air circulation and confidence for your cat or cats on the go.
The features:
3 Points of Entry! Your cat(s) can enter or be placed into the carrier from the top, the front or the rear. All entry points use high quality plastic zippers with extruded stitching allowing for smooth zipper operation.
With the exception of the base, points of entry are dual zipper for convenience and confidence.
2 solid fasteners in the interior to fasten to cat collar or harness. Ample length in these fasteners so your cat(s) maintains mobility while staying safe when in motion (handheld or in vehicle.)
Included treats/kibble bowl has 2 velcro sides to secure to rear interior of carrier two ways: as a bowl (approx. 1 cup capacity) or as a cave of treats. Hand washable materials, fast air drying.
The base pad is also zippered and washable (hand wash or delicate cycle in a mesh bag, hang to dry) with a layer of foam and a layer of soft wood. You could use a waterproof pillow cover (not included) to protect the base from getting messy or put a pee pad either inside or on top of the base.
Bottom of carrier unzips so any accidents or messes can be minimized by removing the pad from the bottom, avoiding contaminating the main compartments, sides, and top of the carrier from messes.
Secure the carrier in a vehicle by threading a seatbelt through the sturdy strap on the rear exterior of the carrier.
Metal D-rings can be used with the shoulder strap attached to the base for a backpack setup.
Shoulder strap is adjustable and can be placed on the sides for over-the-shoulder carrying, or at the base to secure carrier to a seat or chair, or when carrying as a backpack.
Duffle bag style handles has velcro hand grip making it very comfortable to tote one-handed.
The quality:
The soft sides are easy to wipe clean, very appealing color of brushed gray.
The mesh portions are abundant allowing your cat(s) to have visibility 270degrees on the sides and 360degrees above. Excellent air circulation ensures unobstructed respiration for your loved ones.
Scratch and bite resistant mesh keeps cat(s) and handlers safe and secure.
Extruded zippers means no more catching the sides of the carrier or having zippers stuck while you’re midway placing your cat(s) or letting them out. Zippers have easy grip features for fingers to find, grip and pull without slipping.
All plastic components are heavy duty which keeps the carrier lightweight without sacrificing sturdiness and durability.
The shoulder pad is amble in width and is not scratchy on the shoulder, making hands-free carrying very comfortable.
Hand grip and shoulder pad do not shift with weight of cat(s).
Shoulder straps and handles are weaved providing strength and durability.
The comfort:
Spacious interior. My 20# Turkish Angola was incredibly comfortable in this premium soft-sided carrier. He could sit up, lay down and did not feel cramped or impeded his movements, vision and cat senses.
Easy on the hands, shoulders and torso. I am 5’3″ and did not struggle at all with my gato gordo one-handed and hands-free.
Two kittens or small cats under 10# each would fit comfortably. A medium size cat would find this carrier nicely roomy. My large cat was very comfortable, and with all the mesh did not feel enclosed as much as he felt safe.
Our trip to the vet was pleasant for the first time for both my cat and me. We absolutely love this carrier and highly recommend it to any cat parent, for errands or for outdoor adventures. This premium carrier is both practical as well as stylish.
5 Big Glowing Stars!

My cat in pictures is 18 lbs. As you can see in pictures the carrier bottom holds firm and rigid so nice and stable for cat. Also the bottom panel is nice, soft, and fluffy which is great, until your pet has an accident, BUT the cover has a zipper , so can unzip and wash cover. The bottom is a board with a layer of water proof sheeting (see picture). There is plenty of head room, which is one of the attractive features of this carrier. Picture of my big boy inside shows he is comfortable. When using shoulder strap definitely need to make sure you use your side to help stabilize as the carrier tends to want to lean/shift side to side. Definitely use handles to pickup and NOT shoulder strap. It collapses easily to store (see picture). Lots of mesh so for summer lots of air can circulate. There are metal and plastic loops in back, not big enough the slip seat belt buckle thru but perhaps designed to attach to a strap system that you can get separately to attach to?? There is also a strap across back of one of zip up flaps, where a seat belt would fit through, so at least prevent from sliding forward. There are two very small mesh pockets on top that would hold car keys. There is a back and front zipper opening and the top zips open, but the top is NOT designed for drop opening, which is why I only gave 4 stars. You can place cat in via top, but if they are very squirmy they can jump out very easily and fast, so you will have to get it zipped up faster than they can jump out. You might get lucky if you place in and put top down and try and hold top closed with one hand and get it zipped up, but really depends on willingness of your fur baby. For the cost, in my opinion, I feel like you are getting a well made product for the $$.

First off, I do appreciate this is collapsible but it was a kind of a pain to “untangle” the sides from the straps. Once it was untangled, and zipped together, it’s a pretty good size. I have a larger tabby, he’s not chonky, he’s just a big dude and he was the first one to try it out. I zipped him in in and he took no time to lay down and curl up. My other two cats are smaller so knowing that he can lay comfortable in there, it makes me happy. For the zippered doors, there is one on the back, one in the front and of course, the top zip. A comfy mat is also included and inside the carrier are two strappy things, which I assume is to attach to the collars of your pets.
