We have 3 cats and this seemed perfect, but not for them.
It’s a 5-star product if you only foster kittens, or maybe a 4-star product if you have only one pretty small adult cat.
What I mean is, it’s quite small, so it might be perfect for your kitten or very young cat, but they may grow to feel that this box is too tight.
But even our smallest cat clearly doesn’t like this litter box. In fact, he often sits in front of the door and meows. He’ll use the litter box when he really has to, thankfully, but he’s clearly not a fan. The others aren’t either.
We started with it without the top to get our cats used to it, but it’s still on the small side (and of course one doesn’t order this just to use it without the top).
The bottom in stainless steel is amazing to easily clean, but you have to remember you need to remove the top and have somewhere to put it while you empty the litter box. We aren’t fan of this extra step.
The top holds securely in place and is quite sturdy. It’s actually in 2 parts, so you could use just the bottom to create higher walls, and I think you’d usually just remove the top part to clean it… but the middle part creates sort of a lip that makes scooping a bit more difficult in the front (below where the door would be).
The step to catch litter from the cat’s paws is a great idea and seems to work nicely.
Since our cats really don’t like using it, I can’t say anything (good or bad) on the efficacy of the air filtration.

This box is really nicely designed. First off, the main pan is stainless steel, meaning it won’t hold odors and bacteria, and can be cleaned so it’ll last much longer than plastic.
The middle part, which are essentially risers/walls attach with a tongue-in-groove type of base. As in, it’s not “balancing” on there, nor can it easily be pushed out or in. Which also means that if a cat makes a mess of the wall, the mess drips down into the base, and won’t seep through the seam.
And then the lid part offers access/egress through a full-front flap and/or a top flap. The top flap can be left open for ventilation or to minimize any “claustrophobic” feel”, and can also be used if you want to do a quick scoop without taking the whole thing off. The flaps can also be removed if your cat doesn’t like them. And hey, if you don’t put the lid and flaps on at all, you’ve still got a nice, deep litterbox.
There’s also a step that will collect some of the litter on kitty paws on their way out – if your cat steps on it. Mine tend to leap out. And there’s also a plastic litter scoop.
But this is legitimately for SMALL cats or for kittens. Assuming my cats are fairly average length, any cat over about ten pounds will have to hang out the front flap (hopefully their head and not their backside!) and/or will, let’s say, dirty up the back wall of the box.
So if you’ve got a little cat, this is a really nifty little box!

Our cat passed recently, and our home doesn’t feel the same. We have been discussing the adoption of a new kitten and ordered this stainless steel litter box in anticipation and preparation.
The unit is well built and the parts lock into place easily. The material will make it easy to clean, but disassembling it will require forethought and planning. Two separate entrances make it accessible for young and older cats, but they need to be small. The litter box is not large, so a small or medium cat is your best bet.
I love the look, stainless steel material, and the addition of a litter scoop. I am unsure about cleaning it and the size. Only time and the right pet will confirm my suspicions.

This was a great find-the build is solid on all the pieces. The top (plastic) portion is rigid and heavy plastic that doesn’t feel like it will deform.
There are two doors, one in the front and one on the top. I’m not quite sure about the top flap, as it appears to be an exit only (the hinge allows it to only swing out, not in) so that might be a piece to remove for a cat that prefers a top entry box.
My cat is not smart enough to figure out a flap door regardless, so I removed the front flap door and taped the top door closed. Bless her heart, she’s very sweet though.
The litter box is on the smaller side, so it may be too cramped for a very large cat, but my small cat seems to have plenty of room and prefers a small box (maybe feels more secure?)
The litter pan itself is of a heavier gauge stainless steel-it’s plenty thick enough to not deform even when filled with a quantity of litter. It’s got a smooth finish so we don’t need to worry about little scratches collecting stank like plastic boxes eventually do. This also makes it easier to scoop-the waste doesn’t seem to stick like it does with plastic boxes eventually
The height of the front door is a bit more than the old box, so I opted to use the included “step” litter catcher. This is a nice piece and I’m actually quite pleased with this solution, as my cat will pee on any type of soft litter catcher mat outside her box, so it’s always a challenge to keep scattered litter off the floor in front of the box. This catches maybe 60% of it, so I’m not sweeping 3x a day.
I was hesitant to grab this box initially as the description and pictures didn’t really convey the quality for the price-but I was very pleased and surprised when the item arrived-it exceeded my expectations.

Normally I wouldn’t spend this much on a litter tray but this is good quality and should last a lot longer than the plastic kind, so it’s well worth the money in my opinion. Would recommend

This is a really nice cat litter box. It’s a good value at the price too because the bottom is stainless steel and the other parts are the thick sturdy plastic. Nothing flimsy about this one. It was easy to put together. Everything just snaps in place. It’s a three piece one and has an opening in the top and the front. It’s taller /bigger than I expected which is great. I have a make cat that is half Maine Coon and weighs almost 30 pounds. I didn’t expect him to be able to fit in it since he can’t get into my drawer style litter box but only an XXL covered one. He was actually the first one in. He doesn’t have a lot of spare room but he did fit with no problems. Both of the doors are clear so it lets light in and probably let’s the cats see out. It has a place to hold an air freshener and came a step that you can use in front. The step has slots so the litter from their feet falls in and can be emptied. I’m not using it since my cats have no problems getting into the tall entrance and I have a special mat under the litter boxes that traps the litter and keeps them from tracking it all over the house. I’m very pleased with this litter box and recommend it. I’ve paid more than this for smaller litter boxes and ones that weren’t as well made so I consider it a good value.

I really like this stainless steel cat litter tray and it’s a good improvement on our last plastic one (just to note, the top half is still plastic on this one). It’s also ideally suited size wise to the place we wanted to have this and I appreciate it being a little less wide in this respect. That being said, I’d recommend it for smaller cats rather than larger ones if you want to keep the top on, as the space inside isn’t massive due to the smaller footprint. Even so, the height gives more room than our old one did and my cat does like this.
It’s very easy to assemble and equally easy to keep clean with the materials its made from. Great that it has a little step stool into the tray that is designed to catch any bits of litter that your cat knocks out also, but really one of the best bits for me is it having a slot to hold the included litter scoop on the side of the box. Genius. Overall I’m very pleased with it, even though I do think the price is a little on the high side at almost £50 (at the time of the review).

Trixie loves her new accommodations, and so do I!!! The covered litter box definitely keeps the litter inside “mostly”. The step, upon exit, is another deterrent for litter to stay off the floor. I added a texturized rug about 26inches in front of the step. When I am cleaning the box, Trixie is right there inspecting my cleanup job. The cleanup is very simple. Just remove the top portion and scoop away! While the smell is not 100% contained, it is WAY better than the ‘open’ box, which now serves as a toy box after a trip through hot soapy water. Trixie is 14 weeks old and about 4 lbs. She learned to maneuver the front entrance door very easily. She has not been interested in the top exit at this point, but something tells me her curiosity will take over soon. I will supplement with photos of her “accommodations”. :0) Phyllis

The stainless steel box is good quality and has a nice weight to it. The rest is plastic. I love that you can remove the cover completely or just take the top half off so you still have the higher walls. It has a deodorizer on the top of the box and holes for ventilation. There’s also an opening on the top. It comes with a step that catches litter and a scooper. This is normally $70, but currently is $50 and you’re really paying for the stainless steel part. I think $50 is reasonable because the cover gives you options and you also get the litter catcher. The size is good for kittens or small cats, but our cats who are 7+ pounds wouldn’t go in here. Overall, this is really nice and I’d recommend it if you have a smaller cat.

This box offers a quality stainless steel pan, so won’t retain any odors and makes cleaning a breeze. The box is a very versatile set up, allowing you to choose how enclosed you would like this box to be. It comes in 3 pieces, the pan, a middle riser to allow height, and then the top piece to make it fully enclosed with an optional flaps, one on the front, and one on the top for easy cleaning and ventilation. There is also a built-in filter/desiccant holder to help capture odors. The walls of this box attach securely in a way where if your cat pees on the seams, the pee won’t seep through the cracks to the outside of the box.

The top has big open vents so it is not completely covered. It is also smaller than other “large” boxes. Better quality than some though.

I want to start off by saying that the quality and utility of this cat litter box are excellent—they really thought of everything. It has a convenient slot to hang the scooper, an easy-to-clean, non-staining stainless steel bottom, sides that click securely into place, and a removable lid with extra vent holes. The plastic is thick and sturdy, it’s easy to assemble, and everything fits together perfectly—nothing warped or wonky like some plastic products I’ve dealt with in the past.
This litter box feels like it will last a lifetime… if your cat fits in it. Here in California, the cats are huge, and my cat can’t quite stretch out comfortably inside. That said, he still insists on trying to fit—no matter how small the box is, he’s climbing in. I’m confident that with time it will work for him, and he’ll adjust.
For me, that’s actually a bonus, since it takes up less space in my bathroom. Overall, this is a great litter box: well-designed, high quality, and a great value. Just be aware that if you have a very large cat who dislikes small or enclosed spaces, this may not be the best fit.

I have a lot of cats. And I have multiple homes. No, I am not bragging, but with my life and pets that means I end up driving a lot between domiciles. When this litter box.came up on Vine for use and review, I decided to get it because it was the PERFECT size for traveling cross country with my cats in my Bronco. This fits in my SUV perfectly, tucked in the back corner for the 40 hour drive-time between homes. I cannot keep cats in crates that long, so I have to let them roam the cabin where they can get water, churu and use the litter box. The hooded box keeps the spray and dust contained and an absolute dream.
For those who have not made the switch… please do yourself a favor and get a stainless steel little box. They are the BEST. Easy to clean, no smell, and will last decades.
This box can have a complete cover, or use just the high-sided version. You can see the configurations in the photos and you can assemble the one that fits your needs.
Yes, this is a smaller litter box, so perfect for kittens and under-1s at home, or for travel. Large cats will avoid it since it is too cramped unless it is their only option, like on a long road trip… but it is a dream.

The litter box itself is well made and easy to clean, but it’s smaller than expected. It works fine for kittens or very small cats, but for an average adult cat it feels cramped and doesn’t give much room to move around comfortably.
I like the design and materials, and it does the job, but I ended up needing to upgrade to a larger size. If you have a bigger cat or one that likes extra space, I’d recommend sizing up or choosing a different option.
Good quality overall, just not ideal for larger cats.

Great choice for a smaller cat or kitten. Since it is stainless steel on the bottom piece this tends to make it easier to clean and less likely to have odors locked in to the material. The design is very good and because of the small size it is easier to place this in more out of reach areas than larger liter boxes. I myself got this one so I could place it underneath a TV stand.
Some cats will appreciate that there are two entrances. One on the side and one on the top. Mine doesn’t tend to use the entrance at the top but some other cats will insist on it because sometimes they prefer to have multiple ways to escape potential danger. The step is a nice touch because it further helps to prevent litter from tracking on to your floor. The quality of this box appears to be quite good and it was easy to assemble. It only took me about five minutes to put it together.

Only complaint: no instructions. But everything just snapped in places so I didn’t even need it.
My cat only uses the front door. She used the top once and that was because I forced her in so she knew what it was. She loves it and so do I. Easy to clean and conveniently small enough to put out of sight.
Great for the price. Easy to assemble.
