I have a german shepherd dog, and multiple cats, so the accumulation of hair is a never-ending cycle in my household. They don’t call them “german shedders” for nothing!
I swear, it seems like she is constantly blowing her coat. I think in reality it’s only REALLY severe a couple of times a year, but even outside of that it can get pretty rough. She had a good 2-3 weeks maybe of PERFECT waved out flowing Farrah Fawcett hair on her hindquarters, but now she is getting all ratty again and I can pull chunks of hair out of her rump and sides, much to her displeasure.
ANYWAY…. all that, to say THIS: If you are fighting a similar never-ending battle with hair drifts collecting by the baseboards, hair stuck to your bedsheets, and hair constantly making your clothing look like you just got off the floor, fresh from wallowing… then you need this set!
The rake assembled super easy and is very effective at cleaning a large area in one big sweep. I’ve found that it helps a LOT to just do a qiuck rake down of my bed (the fitted sheet) to remove at least 98% of the hair that has accumulated there throughout the day.
The glove/mitt thing is also SUPER helpful for cleaning things like bedding, furniture, etc. I actually own several of these now, and we have them in easy to get to areas. They work great for getting hair off of your clothes. So for us, it makes sense to keep the glove in my car so we can de-hair after leaving the house but before actually being seen in public by anyone. Heh.
I have used the third hair remover only sparingly, because I don’t really wear sweaters or similar items like sweaters that could pill up. I did do a brief test of it on my velvet sheet, and it did do a great job of grabbing not only hair but also any other stray textile fibers. Really impressed overall!
